Newly-built road to be named after former Kelty councillor

Former Kelty councillor Bob Mill is to be honoured in town – with a road on a new development in Kelty to be named after the ex-provost.

Provost Mill Way will now be one of the streets in the new Persimmon Homes development to the north of Great North Road.

The name was put forward by Lochs councillor Alex Rowley, with other suggestions coming from Kelty Community Council including Cowan Road, Trinity Crescent, Parley Road and Colliers’ Way.
