Hi Owen and Rita, a couldny believe it when a saw yer names on this site, it wiz jist bi chance that a fund it, it wiz Isabel Garvie, you'll mind o her Rita she wiz in oor class, that phoned me oot o the blue it wiz great t hear fae er, anyway she mentioned she had been lookin at the coal race at the gala n it set me thinkin, so a went on line t look fer it, noo am jist a novice when it comes t the computer, a didny even ken there wiz a kelty site what a find that was, n when a saw your name Owen a wiz shocked, you didny half bring back memories, n that photie aboot Mrs Douglas al be there a didny recognise masel but ma brother Michael is on it Rab Hershaw, Tommy Gallacher,Isa McKay n you of course,everything ye said aboot Mrs Douglas wiz true she certainly wiz a gem n wev aw got fond memories o er n aw er family. Hi Wilma,it was great to hear fae ye bit am sorry tae say yer nae oan that Photie,ye must hae been no weel that day or hiding in the long gress.A ken aw the names except fer wan laudie.I wis oanly telt aboot this site a wee while ago by Davy Docherty who noo lives in ponterfact in England,we are in touch wi him and his Sister Wilma who lives in America by e/mail.I am on Facebook as weel also Friends reunited and have Photies on  baith o them.Rita also met up wi Jane gray out here from Canada when she was visitin her younger Brither Gerald who lives 5mins from us it was the first time for aboot forty years.So if ye are nae already oan Facebook or Friends Reunited jine up ,it is free and ye wull see some o ma photies and ma famely ;
