It's the end of the year and the end of a decade - times can be tough, but let's instead dwell on the GOOD things which have happened in the last ten years.

We might be facing turmoil and great challenges - financial, environmental, political, local - but let's see if we can make a list of everything that's been GOOD here in Kelty.

So what are the best things to happen to Kelty over the last decade? Think of sports victories, fantastic events, local heroes, town improvements and positive developments, shared joys or happy memories.

The year Kelty Hearts got to the Junior cup final local Sunday welfare team Kelty Ex serviceman also got to the Scottish cup final and won the premier league in only their 2nd season with all but 2 of the boys hailing from Kelty.....It goes to show that although we are a small village we can live with the rest.

Jings yer richt enuff a canna vote fer oni thing in Kelty,I dinna bide in Kelti hooses air onli fer newcomers ain foriegn immigrants,, I have tried often to get a council house back into Kelty, and Im told ex Kelty people arent required. maybe it wis because I preferred getting drunk in British Legion.or singing good irish songs,ands no walking on the straight and level.But doesnt mean I should forget Kelty.
