Kelty charity concert will Help the Heroes

A Charity Concert in aid of Help the Heroes is being held on Sunday 14th March, Mothers' day at Kelty Ex-Servicemen's club starting at 2pm.

All proceeds will go to Help the Heroes charity, and on the day there will be various acts including Joanie, Alan Boyle, Kyle Ross and many more.

There will also be raffle prizes, h4h wrist bands for sale, and a small buffet kindly donated from the Clippies Fayre in Kelty. Soup and stovies will be on sale at £1 each.

Basically just trying to raise as much money for our wounded as possible.

There will be a bigger event at the same venue on Sunday 3rd October - acts still to be comfirmed. There will be auctions, home baking for sale, raffles and more.

The event is being organised by Dawn Moodie, whose brother is serving in the Army, and has been out to Afghanistan - so she feels we need to do something to help our wounded soldiers.

DAWN MOODIE says

The charity concert went very well, all had a very good day and we raised over £1000.

All the women on the day received a favour box containing a chocolate heart. Already looking forward to my next concert in october.

Regards Dawn Moodie.
