Historic Kelty token attracting interest in online auction

  • This token, a rare piece of Kelty history, has been put up for sale on Ebay
A rare token - a masonic penny issued by a lodge in Kelty has been up for sale on an internet website this week.

The token was on sale on Ebay with an initial price of £4.00, and the sale ended on Monday 22nd February at 5.45pm, with the token eventually selling for £7.01 You can view the auction on Ebay here.

The advert states: "This token was issued for use as a masonic lodge by Lodge Oak number 877 based in Kelty. This token is in really super collectable condition but has a small patch of corrosion."
