Question 13 - Jimmy Muir he lived in Lawrence Street with his wife Mary and daughters Linda and Maisey (later known as Mandy) and son Alex.

His professional name was Morrell - He was Scottish Champion Accordion player. He also donated the Morrell Trophy for boys athletics competition at the Kelty Gala.

My brother Alex Stevenson won this trophy in the late fifties/early sixties.

After the Gala we went up to Corrieris and Bob filled it with Iron Brew and we all had a drink! - Oh happy days.
