Anyone ever read about this Watchmaker

I was at a bootsale last year and came accross an old pocket watch, I threw it in a drawer and finally decide to look at it, I opened it up and inside It is signed David Harley, Watchmaker Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline, has anyone any idea where his workshop was.dont suppose anyone is living as watch was made in 1872...Wonder if Kelty had any Watchmakers or Clockmakers.
